Digital Textile Printing Conference Scheduled - October 26-28, 2004
Cary, NC USA - Call For Papers –[TC]² announces a Digital Textile Printing Conference at its Cary, NC facility October 26-28, 2004. Program highlights include a combination of pre-conference workshops, presentations, panel discussions, and technology demonstration in areas including currently available digital print technology, challenges for technology adoption, management of color and print quality, digital sampling and production printing. The main conference program has been developed for an audience including technology officers/decision makers, product developers, print designers, print manufacturers, and digital print technology users. Pre-conference sessions have been specially designed to combine theory and practical application.
[TC]² invites participation in combination presentation/panel discussions on topics including:
• Application of CAD for digital print development
• Innovative ink chemistry solutions
• Hardware solutions for printing and fabric finishing
• Challenges and solutions for technology adoption and access
• Experiences in digital sampling in areas related to concept development through production strike-off
• Experiences in digital production printing in areas including short runs, rapid replenishment, and mass customization
Submissions including those of technology, ink, and software vendors in addition to experienced users and service bureau customers are solicited. Presentations should have an educational and/or research focus. Please submit inquiries and abstracts for short presentations here.
