Next Generation 3D Scanner
At the 2003 Apparel Tech Conference, [TC]² announced
the development of its next generation 3D body scanner.
In its continuing effort to make scanning technology more
portable, smaller in size, and at a lower cost, [TC]²
unveiled its 4th generation scanner. Improved features will
include lower power requirements, extra high reliability,
and higher data density levels. Pricing is estimated at $40,000
in single quantities, and as low as $25,000 for multiple scanner
purchases. Targeted availability is the first half of 2004.
