Taking Body Measurements accurately,
Assessing Body shapes,
Understanding the difference between measurements, and commercial sizing variations

2.   Flat Pattern Making

Basic elements for accurate interpretation of flat patterns
Understanding basic Geometrical and Mathematical rules involved in drafting flat patterns,

3.   Basic Bodice Blocks on Flat Patterns (for industrial & personal measurements)

Construction of a basic bodice block in a standard size (involves understanding and applying the principles learned in Sections 1 & 2) A11 &A12

b. Construction of the variation of shapes of dress blocks (Cases B, C ,& D) (involves understanding and applying the principles learned in Sections 1 & 2,& A14, A16, A17, A18, and A22

Construction of dress blocks in personal measurements applying the rules of body shapes and dress cases.
